Residential
Discover glazing options designed to meet a range of residential project requirements. The PLANITHERM® family of higher performance1 low-emissivity (low-E) glass offers options for new-build and renovation projects—from windows and skylights to patio, French, sliding and bi-fold doors.
Across these applications, projects may require thermal insulation, natural daylight or support in reducing overheating in larger glazed areas. The PLANITHERM® range includes options for double-glazed units and triple-glazed units to help meet these different requirements2. Selected products use a “single-stock” coating, allowing the glass to be used in annealed or toughened form, and can be toughened to meet the safety requirements of BS EN 12150. PLANITHERM® products can also be incorporated into the STADIP® laminated glass range to help support additional project requirements.
For projects requiring further functionality, the STADIP® laminated glass range offers options that can help support safety and security, acoustic performance and UV protection. Within the range, 4.8mm STADIP® PLUS combines P2A safety and security performance with a thinner, lighter construction than 6.8mm STADIP® laminated glass3.
Explore the residential glazing range below to identify options for your project. As product performance depends on the glazing configuration, use Calumen.com and consult your local sales and specification team for project-specific information.

- Higher performance, coated, flat glass, achieves an emissivity level of 3% or less; Saint-Gobain Glass’ PLANITHERM® products are higher performing than uncoated, flat glass substrates, based on emissivity level.
- Refer to the individual PLANITHERM® product pages and performance tables for applicable configurations and performance values. Performance data is calculated using Calumen.com and was correct at the time of publishing but is subject to change.
- P2A is a recognised classification under EN 356 for security glazing. To achieve this rating, the glass must resist three repeated impacts from a 4.11kg steel sphere dropped from a height of 3 metres. Refer to the individual STADIP® product pages and performance information for applicable classifications, configurations and performance values.
