PLANITHERM® ULTRA N/N II Thermally Insulating Glass

PLANITHERM® ULTRA N/N II is a higher performance, thermally insulating Low-Emissivity (Low-E) glass, as it achieves an emissivity level of >3%. It offers very good thermal insulation coupled with neutrality, and is positioned ideally for commercial applications. Manufactured in Britain, PLANITHERM® ULTRA N/N II can be toughened and is available in a range of thicknesses, providing versatility for various project requirements. Its key benefits include:

PLANITHERM® ULTRA N/N II Range

MONOLITHIC GLASS

  • Standard thicknesses: 6mm, 8mm and 10mm
  • Substrate: PLANICLEAR® clear float

TOUGHENED GLASS 
PLANITHERM® ULTRA N/N II can be toughened to meet the safety glazing performance requirements of BS EN 12150. Critically, once toughened, this product has the same thermal performance and aesthetics as annealed PLANITHERM® ULTRA N.

LAMINATED GLASS
Available as STADIP®, STADIP® PROTECT laminated glass and STADIP® SILENCE acoustic laminated glass in most common configurations.

SEALED UNIT MANUFACTURERS

  • It enables manufacturers to offer customers a low U-value glazing option for their windows or facades.
  • PLANITHERM® ULTRA N/N II is part of a family of PLANITHERM® coated glass products, each positioned to deliver performance for the relevant market, whether that’s domestic home improvement, new build, or commercial.

WINDOW OR FACADE FABRICATORS / INSTALLERS 

  • PLANITHERM® ULTRA N/N II offers thermal insulation through its low centre pane U-value of 1.1W/m2.K*, while retaining neutral aesthetics (see Calumen.com for product performances).
  • Using sealed units with PLANITHERM® ULTRA N/N II can help windows and facades achieve low whole window U-values, to assist with compliance with the UK Building Regulations.
